How much does cleaning cost?

Every property is different, so we quote rather than publish packages. Price depends on square footage, the scope of work, how often we come, floor types, and the condition of the space. Send us those details and you get one flat written price — labor, supplies, insurance and management included — within 48 hours. There are no hourly surprises and no add-on line items after the fact.

Why don't you show prices on the website?

Published prices for commercial cleaning are almost always wrong. A 6,500 sq ft medical suite cleaned five nights a week and a 6,500 sq ft warehouse cleaned monthly are completely different jobs. Quoting properly takes us about a day and saves you from a number that changes after the first visit.

How fast can I get a quote?

Within 48 hours of us understanding the scope. For most commercial spaces we ask for a short walkthrough first — usually 20 minutes — so the price we give you is the price you pay. For straightforward residential jobs we can often quote from the details in the form alone.

Question 4

Is the quote binding?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your quote is locked for 30 days and the flat rate holds for the term of your agreement. The only time price changes is if your scope, square footage or frequency changes — or if we arrive and the property is materially different from what was described, in which case we stop and get your written approval before doing anything extra.

How soon can you start?

Typically within two weeks of a signed agreement — sometimes faster. One-time jobs like move-out cleans or post-construction can often be scheduled inside 48 hours depending on crew availability in your area.

Question 6

Do you clean after hours?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most commercial janitorial work runs in the evening, between 6pm and midnight, so we're out of your way. Doorstep trash valet runs Sunday through Thursday, 8–11pm. We'll work to whatever access window your building allows.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Rescheduling with more than 48 hours' notice is always free, and recurring accounts get two free skips a year. Inside 48 hours a partial fee applies, and if our crew arrives and can't get in, a lockout fee applies. Full details are in our Refund & Satisfaction Policy.

Do I need to be there?

Accepted Answer

No. Most of our clients give us a key, code or badge and never think about it again. Access details are stored securely and shared only with the assigned crew. If you'd rather be present for the first visit, we encourage it.

Who actually shows up at my property?

Accepted Answer

A vetted, insured cleaning crew working under Paragon's supervision. We source and qualify crews across the DMV so you don't have to — we check insurance, run background checks, verify references and monitor quality. You contract with Paragon and Paragon alone, and we stay responsible for the work no matter who performs it.

Are your crews insured and background-checked?

Accepted Answer

Yes to both. We carry commercial general liability and workers' compensation coverage, and every crew we assign must maintain their own current coverage and name Paragon as additional insured. Anyone entering your property is background-checked. We'll issue a certificate of insurance naming you as additional insured before service begins.

Will I get the same crew every time?

For recurring accounts, yes — consistency is how quality holds. The same crew learns your space, your priorities and your quirks. If someone is out we send a trained substitute and tell you in advance. If a crew isn't working out, say the word and we replace them; that's the advantage of going through us.

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

Yes, supplies and standard equipment are included in your flat rate unless we've agreed otherwise. If you require specific products — a particular disinfectant, a green-certified line, something your building mandates — tell us during scoping and we'll build it into the quote.

How do I know the work actually got done?

Accepted Answer

Every visit is photo-documented against a checklist. You get a service log showing what was completed, timestamped photos of the areas cleaned, and any issues the crew flagged — missed access, damage, supply shortages. Quality becomes provable instead of a matter of opinion.

What don't you do?

Accepted Answer

Unless separately contracted we don't handle biohazardous material, hoarding conditions, mold remediation, pest control, or moving items over 35 pounds. We also won't touch anything you've marked off-limits. If a job needs a specialist we'll tell you and, where we can, bring one in under the same contract.

Can you handle multiple locations?

Yes — that's one of the main reasons clients come to us. We quote across sites on a single contract with one invoice and one point of contact, whether that's three retail storefronts or a portfolio of apartment communities across DC, Maryland and Virginia.

How does billing work?

Recurring accounts are invoiced monthly, net 30. One-time services are due on completion unless we've agreed otherwise. You get one invoice from Paragon covering everything — no separate bills from crews, ever.

Question 18

What if I'm not happy with a clean?

Accepted Answer

Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and re-clean the affected areas free of charge. That's our standing guarantee, with no limit on how often you can use it for genuine scope failures. Am I locked into a long contract?

Recurring agreements run twelve months and then continue month-to-month, with sixty days' notice to end after the initial term. One-time work has no commitment at all. We'd rather keep you because the work is good than because of a contract.

Question 20

What happens if something gets damaged?

Accepted Answer

Report it in writing within 48 hours with photos. We investigate — our own photo log usually settles it quickly — and where we're responsible we repair, replace or reimburse, or refer the claim to our liability insurer. Pre-existing damage and normal wear are excluded.
